Better Half Coffee & Cocktails

One of my favorite places in Austin. The food is always a 10/10 and I also love their Bloody Mary. The wait can be a little long on weekends, but there is plenty of outdoor seating and parking around the back.

Better Half has been on our radar for a long time now, so we popped in for a late weekday breakfast. The property is really nice with a number of inside seating spots as well as plenty of outside seating under some lovely, old oak trees. We ordered the Breakfast Sandwich (with sausage), the Fried Chicken Biscuit (spicy), and the Cauliflower Tots. Even though they were a bit busy, the food came out quickly. Both sandwiches were really delicious. The flavors in the breakfast sandwich all melded together really nicely. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the biscuit was buttery and fluffy. The tots weren't our favorite, but they were nice and crunchy with a sweet beet ketchup. I'd love to come back to try more items from their menu as well as their coffee and cocktails.

Super chill spot. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cold brew coffee wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't bad either just personal preference. My boyfriend enjoyed it. The breakfast sandwich was delicious and my boyfriend had the hot chicken and biscuit sandwich all of it was delicious

This is just fun. Cocktails and Cafe. Small indoor space and lots of outdoor picnic table seating. I worked with the sides menu for my G.F. options, the Offspring had eggs and pancakes. Coffee and latte options. We had breakfast here twice while in town.

We stopped in here for a drink before going to dinner and the place had a nice layout with indoor and outdoor seating. It seems like it shares a common outdoor space with another place, but looks fun where you can hang out with some friends. We ordered the Uncle Gus, which was an amazing mezcal margarita on the spicy side. We also had the pink sangria which was really good too. We went before the dinner rush, so it was kind of slow, but the service was great and the place was nice and clean. Will have to go in sometime for brunch or dinner to taste of food and experience the atmosphere.

Really cute place! I had come to this location after a group run in Austin, but had never eaten here. The food is super good! You order at the counter and then they bring it to you. The churros were surprising light...didn’t feel very heavy. The strawberry pancakes were just the right amount of sweetness and the chicken biscuit sandwich was delicious. The biscuit was cooked perfectly. There is plenty of parking in the back and plenty of picnic tables out back to sit at. Overall great atmosphere and feels very Austin. Would go back!

A friend recommended this place to me because he said they have amazing cocktails and food, but I’m not a drinker so really I came here to check out the vibes and food. I was pleasantly surprised to see a day party, with a DJ and small art ...

This bar has such great ambiance! They have great cocktails and mocktails, and the food is delicious too. I especially like their queso! The inside of the place is so cute and hip, and the outdoor seating is perfect for when the weather is nice.
